As a recruiter, you might have standard templates that you use to communicate with your clients and candidates. You probably have a template for requesting references, notifying interview schedules etc.

Contact managers like GoldMine, ACT!, Outlook, integrate with word processors like MS Word and WordPad. You can create your own templates and personalize by inserting the desired fields like name and address. Clicking one button and selecting the desired template is all you have to do. Your contact manager does the rest.
