7 interviewing tips for recruiters

Interviewing candidates is one of the most critical phases of a recruiting process. To be successful, you got to know the do’s and don’ts.

Try the following:
  1. Ask relevant questions and ask tough questions if there is a necessity. Don’t be afraid.
  2. Don’t boast about your company just for the sake of attracting your candidates.
  3. Ask for information that you don’t have - information that is not mentioned in the resume.
  4. Allow your candidate to speak more and listen.
  5. Provide detailed information about the job requirements.
  6. Plan your interview, short or long, as necessary.
  7. Respect your candidates’ time and keep up your time.
